PRIVATE TOUR
Enjoy an intimate and unique experience at Château Lagrange. Guided by one of the estate's ambassadors, you will be immersed in the history of the estate, its vineyards and its exceptional terroir. From the vines to the cellars and the vat room, you'll discover the scope and complexity of the work carried out by the men and women at the Château. A private tasting of our four iconic wines, including the emblematic Château Lagrange 2010, will give you a chance to appreciate and understand the expertise of our oenologists, and to share a beautiful moment.
VERTICAL BLIND TASTING
After a private visit tour of the estate, vineyard, vat room and cellars, indulge your senses with a blind vertical tasting of our remarkable vintages. We invite you to enjoy a playful experience and taste four outstanding vintages of Chateau Lagrange, 3rd Classified Growth in 1855. Have fun guessing which wine you are tasting thanks to its colour, aromas, and blend.
Blending Workshop
Enjoy a rich, fun experience with a private tour followed by a blending workshop. Guided by one of our expert ambassadors, you will be immersed in the history of Château Lagrange, its vineyards and its exceptional terroir. You'll learn more about the characteristics of the previous vintage, such as weather and harvest conditions, and their influence on the characteristics of the wine. You'll continue your experience with a tasting of several grape varieties from our different plots. Like an apprentice oenologist, you'll have the chance to sharpen your senses by creating your own wine blend.
Mehari tour around the vineyard
Immerse yourself in the vineyards of this 3rd Classified Growth aboard a Mehari, an iconic car reinterpreted as a 100% electric model. Take a tour of the estate to learn more about the richness of our terroir, as well as the various actions taken to develop biodiversity on the property. From our oldest vines to the highest point of the appellation: our vineyards will hold no secrets for you. After this immersive tour, you’ll also discover our cellars, our history, and end with a tasting of three wines from the estate.
MEET THE OENOLOGIST
Learn more about the work of the vines and the wine, as well as the expertise of the men and women working on the estate. Enjoy a private meeting with one of our distinguished oenologists. In our old vintages cellar, he will reveal the keys to making our wines. You will then be invited to taste three exceptional vintages and learn all their secrets.
Apprentice Harvester
Discover one of the high points of the year from behind the scenes, join us for the harvest ! You will hand-pick the grapes, fruit of a whole year’s hard work, and follow their path from the vine to the vinification cellar. A delightful country picnic in the park of the Château will then close this experience. Weather permitting !
FUSION CUISINE : COOKING LESSONS
We invite you to step into the Château’s old Orangery to enjoy a very special gastronomic experience. In the heart of the Médoc, our Chef, will share his secret cooking tips, and guide you in the preparation of two Japanese specialities that you will make with locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
One of the Domaine’s ambassadors will offer you a tasting of our Château Lagrange Grand Vin as well as our second wine so that you can appreciate the delicious pairings with your own culinary creations. This fusion of the great French and Japanese gastronomic cultures makes for a truly unique experience.
