Adam x Château Lagrange

Adam is a company specializing in the manufacture of high-end boxes dedicated to wines and spirits, located in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Médoc, in Sainte-Hélène. Adam’s extensive production capacity covers a wide range of products, from small to very large runs.

PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certification attests that the wood used by Adam is harvested within a maximum radius of 500 km from the company, thus guaranteeing a sustainable approach. With production entirely in France, the company guarantees the authenticity and traceability of its products.

The company focuses its attention on four areas of innovation – product, technology, environment and social. Adam also has a design and technical development office, so that innovation is always an integral part of production. These commitments, positively aligned with our own, have repeatedly motivated collaborations between Château Lagrange and Adam.

Tonnellerie Berger & Fils x Château Lagrange

The collaboration between Château Lagrange and Tonnellerie Berger extends over almost three decades, establishing a strong bond between our two entities. Located just a few kilometers from the Château, this cooperage, founded in the 1950s in Saint-Estèphe, embodies French know-how, combining artisanal excellence and cutting-edge technology.

Berger et Fils designs customized barrels for every wine, every grape variety, each with its own specific characteristics. The process involves meticulous wood selection, right down to the finishing details, including the choice of toasting.

An approach designed to meet the unique requirements of each cuvée. At Château Lagrange, regular tastings, sometimes organized several times a year, enable in-depth exchanges with our oenologists. This interactive collaboration aims to adjust barrel practices in line with the evolution of the vintage, new vineyard parcels, and the changing characteristics that mark each new viticultural year. The ultimate objective is to adapt with finesse to the specificities of each vintage and the unique nuances of our vineyards.
